Auckland, Last Night. The Auckland Cricket Association district championship matches advanced another stage yesterday, the second round of the second series being finished. The weather was perfect, and high scoring was the order of the day. The Grafton-Eden A match was responsible for some high scoring. Grafton made 375 last Saturday, while Eden A made 885 for seven wickets yesterday; BrookSmith (200 not out), Horspol (45), Mills (3»), Brown (30), and Bridges (26 not out) being the principal scorers. Eden A won on the first innings' total, and scored a two-point win. There were 760 runs made for 17 wickets in about 7% hours of play. Eden Colts defeated 'Parnell on the first innings' totals by 107 runs, and secured a two-point win. Parnell made 110, while at the close of last Saturday's play the Colt had scored 111 for three wickets. This score was increased to 217 yesterday, Taylor ■(60) and Hinds (28) being the additional batsmen to make good scores. Parsell went in again and made 184 for six wickets—Sale 37, Hute-hins 37, Barry 36 not out, and Wright 29. Hatchins took five Colts' wickets for 36 runs. University defeated Ponsonby by nine runs on the first innings. (Ponsonby's first innings' total was 194. University continued their innings, the leading additional scorers being Wallace with: 99, SVacobsen 21 and Colvile 17. Woods took six wickets 'for 63 runs. University scored a two-point win. City, with •179 behind North Shore on the first innings, decided to forfeit the match, their position being hopeless, North Shore securing a three-point win.

Fire Brigade easily defeated High School on the Recreation Sports Ground on Saturday. The Brigade made 220 runs—Chvrk"e"BT,'Papps 53, Southall 30. High School were disposed of for 61 runs.

Egmoat Village defeated United Service A on the Tukapa ground. Egmont Village compiled 88 runs (O'Byrnc 22), and United Service A 39 runs (Simmons IP).
