BRITISH POLITICS.
A HOP BILL. Received 28, 4.44 p.m. London, February 27. Earl Carrington, President of the Board of Agriculture, stated that the Government, recognising that the bop industry is in a critical condition, was prepared to rc-introduce a Hop Bill. This in nowise touched the question of protection.
