THE CHERNIAYSKIS. It is usually of interest to mingle with the crowd leaving a theatre or concert hall and listen to the various comments and criticisms given utterance to at that time. On the occasion of the recent Cheruiavski concert here, the dominat ing sentiment—if one may so put itwas one of astonishment and bewilder incut. " Jlo\v is it possible." one heard on all sides, " for mere children to play so divinely''" That is just (he very, essence of the chatter one hoard as one came out of the Theatre Royal on February oth. As to the Cheniinvski boys' undoubted genius there can be no argument.
