The programme for the Taranaki championship meeting to be held on the Nga Motu links at Easter has been issued, and may be obtained from Mr. .!. Paton. secrctarv. The tournament will extend over three days. Saturday, April 10; Monday, April 12; and Ttiesdav, April 13. On Saturday, at 0 a.m., the. qualifying round for the amateur championship will be commenced. This is to be followed by the teams match. The second round of the championship will be started at 1 p.m., and at 2.30 p.m. the Men's Medal Handicap of 18 holes will be commenced. On Monday morning, at 9 o'clock, a start will he made with the third round of the championship; at 9.30 the Men's Foursomes Bo«ey Handicap will be commenced. The fourth round of the championship will start at 1.30. Men's Medal Handicap at 1.45. On Tuesday morning, at 0 o'clock, the final of the championship will be commenced. After the completion of the championship the LadiesMedal Handicap of 9 holes lakes p nee. The Mens Medal Handicap will be startcd at 1.30 on Tuesday aftem,oon. A continuous putting competition will be held, prizes being awarded each day foi the best cards. , Clements, the professional coach, is expected to arrive in New Plymouth on Monday. He will stay here lor about a '"biannual meeting of the Nga Motu Coif Club is to be held during March.
