WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. .Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-(tay before Mr. Justice Oooper and a special jury of twelve, the hearing was concluded of a case in which Daisy Cook, a young woman, claimed £5Ol damages from Herbert Pearson Raweon, dentist, or Wellington, for bodily ißjnnes alleged to have been inflicted upon her during the oourse of an operation for the extraction of a number ol teeth. Ml. U I', Skerrott, K.C., with him Mr. t. r. liunny, appeared for defendant, who denied all the allegations made by plaintiff. Plaintiff by her statement of claim alleged that defendant so negligently and so unskilfully treated her that a tooth was allowed by defendant to fall into plaintiff's lung, whereby she suffered injury to her health and much pain, and had been put to expense for medical attendance. Defendant, by his statement of defence, denied that he was in any way guilty of negligence or unsKilfulness in treating the plaintiff, or that a tooth was allowed by him to fall into plaintiff's lung. Defendant further denied that plaintiff had Incurred any Injury to her health as the result ot his treatment, or had been put to expense. The jury, by eleven to one, found In favor of defendant, but considered th« plaintiff was perfectly bona fide in bringing the, action, and decided; to make her a present of the jurors' fees.
