A VALUABLE DONATION
RELICS OF THE PAST. • The following is the list of fourteen volumes of military records handed over to the Mayor and councillors of New Plymouth by Mr. W. 11. Skinner as public records, the records having been given him by the late Colonel Stapp:—
Garrison and Regimental Orders.--Eight books covering the period from 1 Ist March, 18(10, to Oth July, 1804; a few leaves missing from Nos. 1 and 7. Letter Books. —Four books, from 2nd March, 1800, to Bth December, 1802, and one for part of 1864, one from 16th August, 1805, to 30th March, 1869. Pay-list of Militia.—One book, Ist April, 1801, to September, 1801. Detail of Duties.—l4th June, 1864, to 21st October, 1864.
