There were several rumors about towji yesterday concerning developments at the Moturoa bojes of the Aloturoa Petroleum Company. T1 e statement was made that thirty barrels of oil had been pumped in a few hours. • A "ttuly Xews'' reporter, who set out specially to investigate, learned that never in the history of the company had things looked as rosy as they do now at No. 2 bore. From four o'clock ou Thursday after* uoon to Friday afternoon there were pumped from the bore nearly ten thousuiul gallons of oil, with an admixture of salty water and silt, the 17jOUU-gal-lons tank beiug nearly two-thirds full a* Ihe result of this run with the pump*.
