THE KING'S! VISIT. London, February 14. Several correspondents stale that the conversation between King Edward and the Kaiser, the llight lion. Sir Charles liardinge (Permanent Under-Secretary ui Stale for Foreign Att'airs), and Hen* von Sehon {German Secretary of State for Foreign Allah's) covered a wide field. Exchanges of views between tin; two foreign offices will be more frcijuent. while general results will bo highly sal isfactory. Xobody expects a reduction of armaments. The King and ljue«i receded an ovation on their return to London. It is officially stated tnat King Edward, who suffered fioni a cold on quitting England, is now decidedly better.
THE KAISER'S DECLARATIONS. Berlin, February 14. The Kaiser, in thanking the Burgomaster for the arrangements at the Rathaus visit, declares that Berlin substantially contributed to making King Edward's stay pleasant and joyous. It betokened an earnest desire of the German people to cultivate strength and friendly relations witn kindred nations. PACIFIC SENTIMENTS. London, February 14. Renter reports that Prince Billow has optimistic views that public opinion in both countries will follow the example of the honest, pacific aims, and the sincere reciprocal understanding given them by the rulers and statesmen on both sides.
