Ills BAND FOI'ND NOT GUILTY. A JUDGE'S REMARK. l'eecived 11, 0.40 a.m. Melbourne, February 10. The jury found Scott not guilty on u charge of murdering his wife at Spring duly on December 14th. ' Tin. Judge, In discharging the accused, said: "Who did the deed is only known to God and- yourself." Mrs. Scott, wife of the manager of the Spring dredge, was found shot dead. The husband was arrested on a charge of murder oil the evidence ot his little daughter, who stated that her father and mother were quarrelling,' and the father struck the mother, and that aha afterwards heard a shot flrod.
