MDIAN LOAN. Received 9,10.45 p.m. London, February 9. The Indian, loan has been over-sub-scribed. INVERCARGTLL WOOL SALE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. The last wool sale of the present series was held to-day, when 4004 bales were offered. Practically all was sold. It was generally anticipated, in view of the recent northern sales, that prices would be lower; but considering that there was less than naif the quantity offered, and that most of the best clips had been sold, prices were fully equal to those of tie January sale. Lower grade wools were fully %d per lb. better. The best price obtained was for a three-bale lot of super cross-bred hogget, which sold for lid. The best prices for other sorts were: Half-bred 10%, strong cross-bred 9«/ B d. Prices were fully up to last sale's quotations.
