The Marine Court found ' that the stranding of the Karnuh was due to the mate, Moliov, altering the course set by the captain, and called upon 'Moliov to show cause why his certificate should not be suspended. Received 9, 1.10 a.m. Sydney, February 8. In connection with the stranding of 'the Karnah, the certificate of the mate lias been suspended for six months. FIRE IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydney, February 8. A lire at Ballina destroyed a block of six shops. Tlie damage is estimated at £GOUO.
