The Californian Assembly rejected the Bill prohibiting aliens being members of a corporation, also a Bill requiring the segregation of Japanese from white?, but agreed to a Bill excluding the Japanese from schools. President Roosevelt telegraphed to Mr. Cillet, (Jovernor of California: "This is the most offensive Bill of all. It is clearly unconsiitutional. \W should be compelled to test it."
