FIRES.
ALDINGTON SCHOOL DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Shortly beforo midnight on Friday, the Addington public school was found to ba on fire, and' despite the efforts of the brigade, the main building was totally destroyed. The infant school, situated about two chains from the main school, was saved. The building destroyed was insured under the Government's own scheme. It is impossible to assign any cause to the outbreak.
