STUATFOIiD v. NEW PLYMOUTH. Sis: rinks from the .Stratford Bowling Club tried conclusions yesterday afternoon with six rinks froin the New l'lyliiuuth Club on tile hitter's green. A most enjoyable afternoon's bowis eventuated, and at Che conclusion of tiie .play it nils found that the local players had been successful 011 every link. Tliu totals were:—Gaines played, 2!>0; Xew Plymouth won 143, Stratford won 87. The visitors were entertained at afternoon tea,'and left for home by the special train at five o'clock.
