Crenui; ' April 12U., | New Plymouth.

It was resolved that the Association take over the control of cycling in the 'larnnnki district. This will mean a distinct gain to clubs in many ways—one. aHiliatioii fee will now cover running and eyeling events. Amateur events. —Clubs will be allowed to run amateur events under the jurisdiction of the New Zealand Athletic Union, and without the payment of extra fees.

Wangamii Caledonian Society.—lt was resolved that a strong protest be made against, the fact xif the Wangnnui Society being allowed by the Union to run ian unregistered meeting without being di.s<|tia!ificd. 'Die members present were unanimous on the subject and considered that the Union has made a weak stand in connection with the Wanganui case, especially as disqualified runners were allowed to compete.

Two vacancies on the executive were filled by the election of Messrs. Fred. Binnie, Oakura. and C. T. Perrin, Stratford.

Mr. .7. Clarke, chairman, gave an interesting report of the annual meeting of the N.Z. Athletic Union held at Dunedin iu January.

Sundry accounts were passed for pay mcnt, and the. meeting rose.
