Detective Millar produced a written statement by the accused to the effect Unit he admitted the offence. The accused had in conversation with witness admitted that he bad hacked horses. Ibe accused intimated that lie had nothing further to sav. and was there-j upon committed for' sentence at tile Supreme Court.
