FATALLY CIU'SIIED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, January 2">. At Ternpa on Saturday, wliil- driving with two other .Maori hoys, Te Itangi Taitukn, fourteen year* of age. was fatally crushed liy a curt overturning! in a hole in the road and pinning him lu the ground liy the shoulders. The other occupants were thrown clear ui the vehicle. At an inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.

The Carterton police were, informed of the matter on Friday last, and went out with organised search parties, lull could tind no trace of him. On Tuesday last a man was seen, hut he eluded pursuit. On Thursday last a camp safe was rohhed. The search still continues.

He had previously heen treated for heart disease. Another sudden death occurred. R. Nelson, for, many years employed as a fireman at the woollen mills, was cycling to the works when lie fell oil' his bicycle. .Medical aid was summoned, hut the doctor pronounced life to be extinct. Heart disease was the, cause of death.
