i WEST'S PICTURES. The excellence of the programme of .the opening night was no doubt responsible for the large attendance at the Theatre Royal last evening. Judging by the frequent demonstrations of approval, the audience was as pleased as IV could be with the programme. The d)e (Jroeji's Vice-Regal Orchestra is a treat in itstflf. This picture, well acted by capable artists, is an excellent specimen of the latest development in cinematography, and will bi? included >u the complete change of propamine that Wr. West will submit to-night. Amongst a fine selection of other interesting subjects of a scenic, dramatic and hwuoious character will be included "Boulter's ■Lock on Thames," "The Frog'' (a line teolored subject). "Picturesque Naples,' '•Who wins?" "The Electrical Photographer, "Victoria to Brighton by nil!,'' "•River Avon, Christchruch, X.Z.," "Those Terrible Kids."
