WAITARA. , . ' (From Onr Own Correspondent.) Tie s.s. Morayshire left the roadstead for Wellington on Wednesday toiorning. On Wednesday afternoon Inst a pretty wedding was solemnised in St. John's Church, the contracting parties ibeing Miss Kathleen Rachel Kyle, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Kyle, *of Waitara, and Mr. Frank Bernard letts, fourth son of Mr. W. Letts, of >Hokianga, Auckland. The Rev. J. B. ißrocklehurst officiated. _ The bride's gown was on the empire style, 'of creme striped Sicilian silk, tastefully finished with silk insertion and glace Bilk. The usual veil arid orange blossoms, and a handsome bouquet, completed the bride's apparel. The chief ttridegmaid—Miss Stella Kyle—was gowned in pink muslin trimmed with silk insertion and French knots, with .Bat to,match. Her sister, Hiss Jean Kyle, wore a pale blue silk, finished »Ith Valenciennes lace, and wore a hat lo match. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr. Syd-nev Letts. The bridegroom's present to his fcride was a gold watch and chain, and to the bridesmaids he presented gold 'dagger brooches set with stones. 'Die *ride's gift to the bridegroom was a f&& locket. Mrs. Stott presided at the, organ. The honeymoon is to be spent ra the Auckland district. Mr. and Mrs. Letts will reside in Wairoa, . Hawke's Bay.
