WELLINGTON SUBURBS LICENSING POLL. Wellington. January 20. The appeal by the trade against the deel.'i rat ion of (he licensing poll in Wellington Suburbs has been withdrawn. Costs this morning were awarded ;i»(iins| the petitioners. The reason for the withdrawal of the petition is on account of lire rulings of (he Court ill lhc Masterton petition, according to winch petitioners could not hope to succeed.
