The. quarterly meeting of the Teachers' Superannuation Board, held to-day. reported that during the quarter ended December 31, 20 members had left ami 28 joined, the total number of persons on the roll at the end of the year being 2931. Six pension* were granted to contributors who bait retired, three were granted to the widows of deceased pensioners, and. three to the widows of deceased contributors. The receipts for the quarter, including £74,501 brought forward on October 1, 1908, totalled £83,084, and the expenditure, allowances and refunds to £23110, leaving « balance in hand of £80,718.
