AUSTRIA'S COMI'KN SAT lON TERMS. THE CRETAN QUESTION.
London, January 11. Austria's oiler of compensation depemh on Turkey agreeing to arbitrate irrespective of whether the domains be vested in the Dili in State or in the two occupied provinces. The offer is the outcome of a movement recently started in Constantinople to boycott Greek goods if the Greek Government re-omened the Cretan question. At a great, meeting at Constantinople it was decided to t mphiitically protest against Greece raising the question. A Mibscqiient deputation ascertained that the Greek Government was willing to leave the solution of the question in tiie hands of the four powers interested in the administration of Crete. Received 12, f1.50 p.m. Constantinople, January 12. The Turkish Grand Vizier gave a':i assurance to yesterday's deputation that the Greek Government was willing to leave the solution of the Cretan question in the hands of the four Powers concerned.
