A SUDDK-V DEATH. By Telegraph.—Freaa Association. Christcliuich, Tuesday. George Frederick Betteridge, aged 60 years, bricklayer, died suddenly of heart failure this morning at Sydenham. Christcliurch, Last Night. At the impiest held this afternoon by ■Mr. 11. W. Bishop, District Coroner, concerning the death this morning of George Frederick Bettridge, a bricklayer, who resided at Waketteld-strcet, Sydenham, th« Coroner returned a verdict that death was due to heart disease. A young man named Arthur- Waists employed by Messrs. McMillan and Fredric, was severely injured yesterday morning, says the Stratford Post. Walstt was engaged in some plumbing work at a house which is being erected on the llastie road for Mr. E. Xiehbon, and fell about fourteen feet from ft ladder on to a carpenter's trestle.
