FRONTAGE OF 25 MILSS. Received 1, 9.50 a.m. ■Sydney, January 1. Destructive bush lires in the Blue Mountains destroyed many beauty spols. In the t'aungai district the fires swept many thousands of acres. The lires have a frontage of 25 miles.
There were destructive outbreaks i: tiie Cowra and Cootanmndra district. At the former the lire is l(i miles wide.
