VICTORIAN ELECTIONS.
LABOR G AINS. Received 30, 1.10 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. There was Hue weather for the elections. The polling was not as heavy ae usual, owing to many being absent on holiday. Many of the returns arc still incomplete. A feature of the polling is that Labor has gained several seats, especially at the expense of .Ministerialists. This is partly due to holiday absentees, but more the result of quarrels amongst the other parties. l,t is understood tli:il all tile Ministers are safe. The latest returns in.i.-e the state of parties roughly: .Mini.-ic.ial' 24, Opposition 18, Labor 2!, with two more electorates still to conn*.
