Palmerston North, Last Night. The Manawatu races concluded today in fine weather and with a large attendance. Hie sum of £11,281 was put through the machine, bringing the tota! up to ,£37,012 for the meeting. Results:—

Whitmore Hurdles.—Aotea 1, Coy 2, Don Carlos 3. Also started: Yosami, Anemone, and Xethcrby. Won very easily. Time, 2min 48 l-osec.

Clandeboye Welter Handicap.—Sandstream 1, Probability 2, Aboriginal 3. Also started: Rosegrove. Won by a head after a good race. Time, lmin 44 2-5 5 c0.

Christmas Hack Welter, seven furlongs.—Eclogue 1, Osiris 2, North-East 3. Also started: Roosevelt, Sliannon Lass, l'aione, and Fiucseur. Won by a good neck, a length between second and third. Time, lmin 29 1-asec.
