The police tried to arrest u suspected Anarchist who barricaded himself i?i the second story of a villa ill Moscow. The suspect, drawing a revolver, shot and killed the Superintendent of Gendarmerie and badly wounded a second ollicer. The Anarchist kept the police at bay for several hours, and wounded Colonel Kotteii, Chief of the Moscow Detective Department, another ofHccr, and a policeman. Finally lie committed suicide.
