WEST COAST RIFLE ASSOCIATION
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The holiday passed oIT quietly in fine weather. The eighth annual meeting of the West Ciast Rifle Association commenced on Putiki rang* on Boxing Day. The weather was beautiful. The attendance is four less than last year, the number competing in the championship matches being 123. Only two matches, Manawatu and Taranaki, were completed, and the first range of the Wellington Match was fired. Following are the scores:—

The executive committee was asked to urge the Government to give assistance to the Association. It was resolved that tyro prizes be added to future programmes.
