NAVAL PRIZE COURT.
, St. Petersburg, December 25. The Supreme Naval Prize Court at St. Petersburg, over-ruling the Lib&u : judgment, declared that while the over--3 hauling of the St. Kilda during the - Russo-Japanese war was justifiable, the confiscation and sinking of the vessel b were not justified. Hence the owners are entitled to submit to another Court their claim for damages. Exception is mode to the small quantity of rice destined for the Japanese Government, and to some cotton, which might under the circumstances be considered contraband. ' ■. x 4 I ======
