NEXT AUSTRALIAN TOURING TEAM Sydney, December 21. The programme for the next Australian cricket tour has been arranged. The first test will be played at Birmingham on May 27, the second at Lords' on June 14, the third at Leeds on July 1, the fourth at -Manchester on July' 21! and the fifth oil the Oval on August 9 AH will be three-day matches, except the last, which may he continued oil the fourth if the rubber depends on the result. The Board of Control will invite a South African team to visit Australia next season. ■ PLAYERS' TERMS. Adelaide, December 21. Clem. Renter's agent at Johannesburg reports that a South African criclcet team wojild probably accept an invitation- to visit Australia if the date were altered to 1010-11, - and a minimum guarantee were provided; but the Marylebone team has been invited to visit South Africa in 1909-10.

The selectors have chosen the following eleven to represent the province against Otago at Victoria Park on 28th, •29th, and 30th December:—A. E. Relf (Eden Colts), A. M. Howden (North Shore), G. Cummings (Eden "A"), E. V. Sale (Parnell), S. P. Jones (Grafton), L. G. Hemus (Ponsonby), l'\ 1!. Mason (Grafton), E. McCormick (City), A. Haddon (North Shore), W.Brook-Sinith (Eden "A"), anil W. Robinson (Ponsoiihy). Reserves: W. T. Stemson (City) and A. H. Francis (Ponsonby). The team is a strong batting side, no fewer than five members (Relf, Cmnmings, Sak, McCormick, and BrookSmith) having made centuries in club cricket this season. The Irawling will be .supplied by Relf, Howden, Mason, Cuinmings, and Haddon, while BrookSmith makes a good change. Robinson will be the wicketkceper.
