MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Egmont County Council was held at Opunake on Friday, December 11. The Council had called tenders for 'the supply of 2400 yards of metal. K. 11. Yieke.ry, 5s 3d; #0 yards shingle, .Main South Road, and 'IOO yards shingle, Watino Road, Keheley Bros., 4s 8d; 200' yards boulders, l'atiki ■Road, Keheley Bros., 3s Id; 100 yards 'boulder stone, Oeo (Cpper) Road, N. C. Tnnes, 3.s 4d; 100 yards gravel, Oeo ['(Lower) Road. Keheley Bros., 4s (id; iIOO yards of stone between Tc Xamu and Oaonui l'ivers. (!. The foreman of Oeo Riding reported: —Main South Road: Considerable dillienlty was experienced in finding sullicient men for spreading, napping stones 'oil gravel, banking up. etc., but by shifting some of the gang from the northern division enabled the work to be kept 'going.
