VESSEL IN DISTRESS.
OFF WANGANUI. j NO PARTICULARS AVAILABLE. AVangaaui, Last Night. Late to-night a vessel, supposed to be the three-masted schooner Ururoa, was seen in the breakers oil the south spit. She was showing flare-ups and blue lights, but no communication could be effected. The vessel has apparently been dismasted, but no information is available.
