The captain was the only survivor. Hie reached shore after battling with the waves for fourteen hours. Two schooners were driven ashore, and three luggers were wrecked. Four bodies were driven ashore. Many others are missing. Three whites aiamed Young, Miller,, aad Tiller, and sixteen colored men, are known to have been drowned.
