SINKING OF A BRITISH STEAMER. NO COMPENSATION ALLOWED. St. Petersburg. December 14. The Russian Admiralty Appeal Court has confirmed the judgment of the Libau Prize Court justifying Admiral Kuy.lidestvensky's action in capturing and destroying the British steamer Oldhamia, while she was bound from Hongkong with a cargo of American oil during the Kusso-Japanese war in IUOS. (The Russian Courts have refuse 1 compensation for any of the British vessels sunk by the Russian warships during the war. In the cases of the lkhone ami the Knight Commander the decision was the same as in this can--.)
