CHECKING POLITICIANS.
JiU.MBAKDINt; CONGRESS. New York, December 13. The House of Representatives at Washington unanimously referred to a committee the passage in President Roosevelt's Message suggesting that secret service men should be appointed to watch politicians to ascertain whether their private actions were in accord with the public professions. The committee is desired to consider whether this passage should be expunged. It is expected that the Senate will net in a similar wav.
