SENSATIONAL INCIDENT
A KELATIV-ES' DIFFEKENCE. KNIFE AND IUFLE USED. iiy Telegraph.- Proas Association. Dunediu, Last Night. A sensational incident happened at North Dunediu at about 7 o'clock tonight. A young man named John Stephen Toome.y went to his home in Cumberland-street, and it is alleged a dispute arose- between, him and his steplather, Daniel McCurdy, a farmer Inoccupation. The latter, it is .-aid, threw a knife at Tooniey, eul ting him on the arm, and Tooniey, leaving the room, procured a lille and tired at .UcCurdy through the window, the bullet striking McCurdy in the thigh. Tooniey was arrested on a charge of discharging lirearms with intent to do grievous bodily harm. McCurdy walked to the hospital, where he was attended to.
