THE WELLINGTON ASSAULT CASES.

William Neal aud John McCorniick were the two men arrested yesterday on a charge of assault and robbery. Tlicy were before tiic Court to-day and were remanded till December 10.
WELLINGTON CASES. Wellington, Last Niglil. At the -Magistrate's Court to-day, Joseph O'Crady, a young man, was committed for trial oil a charge of assaulting and robbing John Niehol of £4 as and j watch and chain worth £5 15a.
Claude Hamilton Maxwell and PatrickJoseph Nolan pleaded guilty to stealing a ham and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
