Mului HalUl, the new Sultan, has agreed to the conditions on which the Towers offered to recognise his authority, but he makes stipulations regard' ing steps to be taken to verify the debts of the Mughzen (Government) and the late Sultan for which accounts have been rendered by subjects of the several Powers.
