DISTRICT NEWS
XGAIRE. (From Our Own Correspondent). Our Xgaire correspondent writes: The Inspector's report on the annual examination of the local school reccntlv to hand that institution to be in a highly satisfactory state. In all classes the youngsters have apparently been well trained, and the parents must lie considered fortunate in having so ca]iable a headmaster as Mr H. A. Stratford. The report concludes:— "The children made a very creditable appear ante at the examinations, the work giving evidence that the teacher had been very thorough i u his treatment of .the several subjects."
At a fully attended meeting of the committee a resolution was unanimously passed expressing to Mr Stratford and stall' the very great pleasure it gave them to offer their congratulations on the excellent progress of the school.
