REJECTING THE MEASURE.' THE LORDS' RESOLVE. Received 25, 11 p.m. London, November 25. Two hundred and fifty peers met at Lord Lansdowne's house and overwhelmingly resolved to reject (lie Licencing Bill because in their opinion it does not materially advance the cause of temperance and violates every principle of equity in its dealings with the numerous classes whose interests arc directed.
