SATYENDERA HANGED. Calcutta, November 22. Satyemlera was hanged here. Crowds of women gathered at the river side at Kowratullah expecting that the murderer's ashes would be taken there after the cremation. The authorities refused to allow the ashes to be taken from the gaol grounds. There were no disturbances. BURNED W EFEIGY. Received 23, midnight.

Calcutta, November 23. Satyendera's effiigy was burned in secret in many houses, with the usual Bengali rights and customs. The students of Northern Calcutta responsible for a demonstration in his memory.
