Antwerp, November 20. The Antwerp wool -sales have cloaeß. The prices confirm recent advances. Out of 51110 bales ot La Plata wool offered 4011 Imles were sold. UUITISII WOOL ATAKKETS. Wellington. November 21. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from (lie High Commissioner at London, dated November 20: —The wool market is advancing steadily. There is more demand. Estimated values are as follows: Thirty-sixes low crossbred# lid, fortys low crossbreds ll%d, forty-fours medium crossbreds Is O'/ad, fiftys half-breds Is 4d, lifty-sixes quarter-breds Is O'/.d, sixtys merinos Is ll'/sd.

Dalgely and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London house under date of the 10th instant:— Frozen Meat. —There is no demand for Xew Zealand beef, and prices are nominal. There is a limited demand for lamb, and the market is weaker. Mutton: The demand is limited and the market is weak. Our quotations for Xew Zealand descriptions are: Prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy 4%d, light 5%d per lb; North Island, heavy 4%d. light o'/od per lb. Prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy .'l'/wi, light 4d |ier lb; North Island, heavy 3%d, light 3%d per lb. Prime ox beef, fores 3'/jd, hinds 3%d per lb.
Talloiv.—The market is dull and there is very little doing. Since our last advices prices for tallow in general are lid per ewt lower. ' Wellington, 20th lNoveinber, IUOS."
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London olllce under yesterday's date:--"We quote present spot values for the following description* of tallow:— Good mutton 325, good beef 30s Gd, mixed 28s 9d, Market lower tendency."
Dulgety and Co., Ltd.. held their fortnightly sale of skins, bides, and tallow on the 20lh instant, when a large catalogue of skins and bides was submitted to i\ good attendance of buyers, competition being verv keen throughout the sale.
Sheepskins.— The market, in sympathy with the rise at the last wool sale, showed an advance of about J /|d per lb on last sale rates. Trices realised were as follows:—Fine crossbred Gd tt> crossbred 4%d to 5%d, crossbred dead 3'/»d to -P/yd, crossbred broken and damaged 3d to 4d, crossbred short 3d, pelts to 4d, hoggets hoggets dead 3%d, lambs shorn 4d, stragglers 2d, green pelts lUd to Is, crossbred damp 4s lid to 5s Bd, crossbred salted Is lOd, lambs' damp Is Id to Is 2'/yd; rnbbitskins U'/,d.
Hides. —No prime lots ofl'ering. Market showed an advance of about J /i^• Ox.
