BRITISH POLITICS.
NEW EDUCATION BILL. TO SUIT ALL PARTIES. Received 21, 0.40 a.m. Loudon, November 20. The Premier (Mr. H. H. Asquith) announced that the Government had decided to introduce a new Education Bill embodying a compromise, which, while not ideally perfect, yet provided a settlement without sacrifice of the principle of cither side. He believed there was solid reasoa for hoping that thi! settlement would meet with public support. The Times says that while meeting the grievances ol nonconformists the Government have evolved a plan which is in no way ungenerous towards the proper demands of dciioniinationalists, and hopes that even Catholics may accept the solution.
