THE TIMES' EULOGY OF MR. DEAKIN. Received 12, 10.20 p.m. London, November 12, The Times, commenting on what it describes as Mr. Deakin's striking statements to its Sydney correspondent, trusts that he will soon return to the service of his country and the Empire with, his energies renewed and hia health restored. The Times proceeds: "He is the one Australian statesman, who, like .Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Premier of Canada, has the car of Ore whole, Empire equally with his own comity men. Whatever the form his activitie* in future may take, he will always speak with special and recog.iised authority on the leading issues of Imperial policy."

Mr. Fisher has submitted the following new Ministry to Earl Dudley:--Prime Minister and Treasurer, Mr. Fisher; Attorney-General, Mr. Hughes; Minister for External Affairs, Mr. Batchellor; Minister for Home Affairs, M" Mahon; Postmaster-General, Mr. Thorn-1 as; Minister for Defence, Senator Pearce; Minister for Customs, Mr. Tudor; Vice-president of the Council, Senator McGregor; Honorary Minister, Mr. Hutchison. The Ministry will be sworn to-morrow.
