UIIKACHES OF SHIPPING ACT. 'By Telegraph.-Press Association. Dunedin, Thursday. Giplain John Bern'ech was fined £lO and costs for preceeding to sea without a full crew. Defendant took over the vessel at Wellington. He said he did not know he was sort handed,as there we-e three firemen over the number required by the Act, and one of these could have been used its a trimmer.
