Dunedin, Last Night, ilic Otago Trades and Labor Council Has received returns from alliliated unions in regard to the voting on Dm resolution of the Trades Conference regarding no-license. THe replies were received from nineteen unions. Five unions, wit/ii a membership of (Ml). decided in favor of the resolution, and live, with a membership of 433, against it. Nine unions, with a membership of o-s, took no action further than expressing the Opinion-- that the 'ballot box was the proper place to settle the quetion. .twelve unions did not reply. Confirmation of the resolution by tile Council was subject to a majority nl the alliliated unions fuvoriag it. and therefore the; Council cannot adopt it.
