COMMISSION OF INQUIRY ASKED FOK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A public meeting was held to-night lor the purpose of considering steps to ■l>e taken in view of the recent allegations of bribery and corruption in connection. with licensing administration. Mr. E. (I. U. Jloss, who was present, epeated his previous statements o;i th" subject, and moved that the (Jovernineiit be asked to appoint a lloval Commission to investigate the matter.
