A final reminder is given to horse- j Owners and trainers that acceptances and general entries for the Waverley Maitutara meeting, which takes' place ha Monday week, November 9th, close to-night with the secretary, Mr. J. W. Smmerson, at 8 p.m. Acceptances are "due for the Waverlcy-Waitotara Cup, Flying Handicap. Moniohaki Stak-s, Handicap Hurdles, and Prince of Wales Handicap. Entries will be received for the Morton Memorial Maiden Race, (K) soys., seven furlongs) Wilson Stakes, 60 «0v9., four furlongs; and Jackson Memorial Stakes. 60 govs'., four furlongs. The weights appear to be very fair and reflect great credit on the han'dicapper, Mr. Geo. Morse, and acceptances snould 'be very numerous. For the minor events the good stakes offered should draw good entries. _ The JWaverley course is stated to be in excellent trim this spring, and the meeting next month promises to be a most successful one.
