It was decided to ask the proprietors of the New Plymouth, Inglewood and ' Waitara papers, and the licensees of tire Oakura and Urenui hotels, to receive names of intending members and to forward them on to the secretaiy (Mr. J. Smith, Imperial Hotel) as received. As soon 8s the required number ot names is received the committee will offer the services of the corps to t'ne Government. It is expected that the number will bt received within the week, and that there is little douht but that the services of the company will be acceptable to the Government. |
