A POLL IN DANGEB. By Telegfftph.—Pre»s Association. "Wellington, Thursday. It has been suggested that the validity of the Dunedin licensing poll will he in danger because of a mistake in the name of the district caused 'iiy the re-arrangement of electorates in the Consolidated Statutes passed last session. Dunedin West was omitted, and Dunedin (formerly Caversham) was included. The old names were inserted instead of the new ones. The Dunedin no-lkensc leader, Mr. A. S. Adams, has communicated with Dr. Findlay on the subject. The latter thinks there will be no difficulty. He says a Gazette notice under the Licensing Act will be issued at once, and in it the correct names will be feiven. As a measure of further caution a notice will be issued for every new district.
